Our Favorite Toys For Yoga (And Playtime!)
By far our favorite toy is the Stacking Cubes! These go everywhere with us and have outlived any toy we’ve ever owned! One of the best parts is that she is continuously growing with them - learning new things during each stage of her development!
Fat Brain Toys has such an incredible variety of toys that are perfectly paired with your little one’s age and development! Check them out below!
Lovevery is another one of our all-time favorites!

Where Does Exercise Motivation Come From?
Lets face it - motivation to exercise is TOUGH! I have good days and bad days when it comes to motivation but here are a few of my favorite ways to keep things positive!
Stay in workout wear - ALL DAY!
I know that sounds tough to be in cozy, stretchy, breathable, fabrics all day while we chase our little ones around. 😉 But getting in your workout gear first thing in the morning helps keep you motivated to get moving! It definitely does for me!
Make a plan!
Plan out the days you want to workout. I look at my calendar on Sundays & Mondays to help plan out which days I need to take off. (Busy days with errands, events or holidays, busy workdays, etc.) By having a plan for the week I help hold myself accountable.
Make it fun!
If you hate to run - don’t run! It’s that simple! I LOVE our new home gym, Tonal! It helps keep me motivated because I truly enjoy being on it! So do what makes you happy and you’re more likely to stick to it!
Reward yourself with rest days!
Resting to allow your body to recover from all your hard work is a NECESSITY! It’s equally as important to rest as it is to work hard! Give yourself time to rest, get a massage, sit on heat to recover sore muscles, binge-watch your favorite shows while the little ones nap - whatever makes you happy! Then get back at it when you feel ready!
Workout with a friend for motivation.
I know we’re all distant right now, but we can still hold each other accountable by working out with a friend! Tell your friend your plan for the week and have them help you stay accountable! Then you also get the added bonus of helping THEM stay motivated too!
Workout WITH your little ones!
I love to workout when my little one (who is 2 years old) is awake and playful! Not only does she get to watch me workout to help set healthy habits for her future - but I also get to enjoy my shower and rest time when she goes down for a nap! It’s a win-win!
It might take some time to get used to a new routine, as well as finding what works for you and your schedule, but once you find it you’ll be able to reap the benefits! There are so many incredible options out there to get yourself moving so find what works for you and commit to it! You got this, mama! 💛
